Free Idea # 232 - Protection for shoulder bags

Insert strong slender metal cables in the straps of purses,
rucksacks and shoulder bags to prevent muggers cutting or
breaking them. Anti-theft straps could also include sensors
that would sound an alarm in the event of external
interference or violent struggle.

Free Idea # 231 - TV with multimedia recorder

Manufacture a TV that incorporates a digital decoder, hard
disc recorder, DVD player, and easily-accessible iPod port.
A single remote control clicker would enable the user to
access and operate all the functions available.

Free Idea # 230 - Aerosols with klaxon sound

Produce small aerosols that would release fire suppressing
pepper spray and simultaneously sound a klaxon. As well as
extinguishing small fires and alerting others to danger, they could be used to temporarily blind and deafen criminals.

Free Idea # 229 - Mirror at back bumper of car

Incorporate a mirror into the back bumper of a car, angled so
it would reflect only the un-dipped main beam headlights of the
vehicle behind. This would encourage and remind forgetful and
selfish drivers not to rear dazzle fellow motorists. The mirror's
reflection could be muted so as to avoid accidents.

Free Idea # 228 - Easy-to-carry baby trolley

Invent an easy-to-carry baby trolley that opens and closes like
an umbrella. The baby would sit in a hammock made of stretchy
fabric supported by a minimal circular structure.
